| ■ | 9 Months ahead - research invitation styles, clip photos out of magazines for ideas. Look over potential invitation wording, consider which enclosure cards you will need. |
| ■ | 6 Months ahead- meet with stationer to discuss invitations. If you are having a local wedding with local guests, send out save the date cards now. |
| ■ | 5 Months ahead - finalize your invitations and order them, have JDK book a calligrapher to address your outer envelopes (allow 2-4 weeks) or have JDK use computerized calligraphy. |
| ■ | 4 Months ahead - receive your invitations and envelopes. |
| ■ | 3 Months ahead - address your envelopes if JDK is not doing your addressing, weigh one completed invitation and take to post office, buy postage. |
| ■ | 10 Weeks ahead - stuff and seal envelopes, apply stamps. |
| ■ | 8 Weeks ahead - mail your invitations, have JDK create your ceremony programs. |
| ■ | 4 Weeks ahead - last chance to send out "B" list invitations, mail rehearsal dinner invitations and post wedding brunch invitations, have JDK create your placecards. |
| ■ | 2 Weeks ahead - contact guests who haven't RSVP'd by the deadline, give final head count and seating chart to caterer. |
