MAILING FAQ
FAQ BY CATEGORY

Q: When Should I Mail My Invitations?
A: Wedding Invitations should be mailed out approximately six to eight weeks before the event. Be sure to ask your caterer when a final head count is needed. This will be a great aid in your timeline.
Q: How Do I Know How Much Postage is Needed?
A: One completed invitation, including the envelope, and with all enclosures should be taken to the post office to be weighed. This will give you the exact amount of postage needed. It will eliminate the hassle of getting invitations returned due to insufficient postage. If you are inviting international guests these will need extra postage. The post office clerk will be able to give the exact amount. This will also give you a chance to pick out custom stamps.
Q: Is Postage the Same for Any Size Envelope?
A: No. If you've picked out a square invitation, this may require extra postage. To be sure, call your local post office.
Q: Do I have to Provide Postage On My RSVP Cards?
A: Yes, it is proper etiquette and common courtesy to provide postage, and your guests will probably reply sooner if everything is taken care of. If you have a long guest list and are looking to lower your postage costs, consider a postcard RSVP instead of a card with an outer envelope. Postcards cost less to mail, plus you’ll be able to forego the extra envelope.
